EVEN

EVEN is a DAX function that rounds a number up to the nearest even integer.

Syntax

EVEN( Number )

Argument	Properties	Description
Number		The value to round.

Return Values

Returns number rounded up to the nearest even integer.

Remarks

• If number is nonnumeric, EVEN returns the #VALUE! error value.

• Regardless of the sign of number, a value is rounded up when adjusted away from zero. If number is an even integer, no rounding occurs.

• This function is not supported for use in DirectQuery mode when used in calculated columns or row-level security (RLS) rules.

= EVEN(1.5)	Rounds 1.5 to the nearest even integer	2
= EVEN(3)	Rounds 3 to the nearest even integer	4
= EVEN(2)	Rounds 2 to the nearest even integer	2
= EVEN(-1)	Rounds -1 to the nearest even integer	-2
